We’re back from Las Vegas, where the energy at the Aria Resort & Casino during CLOC Global Institute 2025 was undeniable. From May 5–8, the conversations weren’t just lively—they reflected a growing urgency and clarity around the evolving role of legal operations in the age of AI.

Our booth stood out—not just visually, but in substance. While many were showcasing AI-powered solutions, we were the only vendor focused squarely on the critical challenge of governing AI responsibly and securely.

That focus resonated. Legal Ops professionals—key partners to Privacy and Compliance teams—were eager to explore how AI Governance fits into their evolving mandates. And it didn’t stop there: our message sparked interest from fellow vendors too, underscoring just how timely and essential this conversation has become.

Speaking of other vendors, one of the standout moments – and a real validation for us – was the stream of visitors from major CLM platforms. Think of the giants in contract analysis, storage, and management (like DocuSign, Workday, Ironclad, and their peers). They’re masters at identifying contract terms and obligations. But here’s the kicker: they often don't delve into validating if those obligations are being met or enforcing them in the complex world of data and privacy.

Why did this matter? Because they saw in Relyance AI a crucial partner. They realized that by integrating our AI governance and validation capabilities, they could offer their clients something truly game-changing: not just a tool to identify contract terms, but a strategic differentiator that proves compliance and builds Responsible AI practices right into their offerings. It was a fantastic series of "aha!" moments, watching them connect the dots.

So, what were the attendees themselves laser-focused on? Unsurprisingly, Data Mapping was a huge topic. The questions flew: "How exactly does your data mapping work?" "Can you really connect to our tech stack to validate and enforce obligations directly?" The answer, a resounding YES, sparked some incredible conversations.

The overarching industry trend? AI, AI, and more AI – specifically to slash manual effort. The Legal Ops audience is driven to accelerate everything, especially time-to-close for deals. That means less time bogged down in manual legal reviews and more reliance on automated contract synthesis and the extraction of provisions and obligations. And that’s precisely where Relyance shines, taking it a step further by validating that those extracted obligations are consistently met. No surprises there – it’s what we live and breathe!

If you’re feeling the pressure to leverage AI while ensuring robust governance, Relyance is your answer.

Our automated contract analysis doesn't just extract data; it generates critical ROPAs and compliance artifacts – tasks that are notoriously manual, time-consuming, and expensive.

Coupled with our automated data mapping, we ensure that your compliance obligations are continuously monitored and met, with automated alerts if any data processing changes put you at risk.

Feeling intrigued? Seeing how this could transform your legal ops and privacy posture? The next step is simple: Take a demo! Let us show you how Relyance can bring clarity, control, and serious efficiency to your AI and data governance strategy.

CLOC 2025 was a whirlwind, and we left Vegas more energized than ever. The future of legal ops is intelligent, automated, and responsibly governed – and we’re excited to be leading the charge. See you at the next one!
